Event Waiver

SMASH SERVE — FREE TRIAL SESSION TERMS

Please read before registering your child.

1. About the session
This is a free, one-hour coached badminton session at ACM Point Cook. One free trial per child. Sessions run Mondays and Wednesdays, 5–6pm, from 27 July 2026.

2. Risk
Badminton involves inherent risks including strains, sprains, falls and other injury. I accept these risks on behalf of my child and understand that Smash Serve, its coaches, venue operators, Badminton Australia and Badminton Victoria cannot eliminate all risk from participation.

3. Medical
I confirm my child is fit to participate and I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, allergies or injuries on this form. If my child is injured or unwell and I cannot be reached, I authorise Smash Serve to seek medical treatment.

4. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release Smash Serve, its staff, volunteers, venue partners and affiliated sporting bodies from liability for loss or damage arising from my child's participation. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Behaviour
Participants follow coach instructions and treat others respectfully. We may ask a child to sit out or leave a session if their behaviour creates a safety risk.

6. Changes and cancellation
Coaches, content or schedule may change for operational, venue or safety reasons. Sessions run subject to minimum numbers — if a session can't run, we'll offer you another night. Make-up sessions are not offered for free trials.

7. Supervision
A parent or guardian must remain contactable for the duration of the session and collect their child promptly at 6pm.

8. Your information
We collect these details only to run your child's session safely and to contact you about Smash Serve programs. We don't share them with anyone else. Email us any time to have your details deleted.

Please note: sessions run subject to minimum numbers. If a session can't go ahead we'll let you know by 5pm the day before and move you to the next available date — your free session won't be lost.
